Worship Age Groups
– Preschool
Our preschool age begins at age 2 ½ – 5 years of age. Preschool volunteers can assist you in checking your child in/out during each service. Our preschool children enjoy songs, crafts, Bible stories, and play.
– Elementary
Our elementary age includes kindergarten through fifth grade. This age group begins worship with their family and other adults in the sanctuary. During the handshake and greeting time, children gather in the foyer and meet the children worship leaders. We encourage parents to walk their child to the entry especially if they are visiting or new to the church.
Elementary leaders then escort children to the children’s worship area in the east wing of the education building. Children will learn about worship through singing, Bible stories, interaction, illustrations and giving. Following morning worship parents should go to the Kids Church in the east wing to pick up their children.
– Security
All children birth through five years old must be signed in and out. Parents of elementary age children should check in with our volunteers during the handshake and greeting time of the worship service.
All of our volunteers go through background checks and are screened by church staff.

Woodcrest Church places a high priority on ministry. We teach and believe that every child of God needs to serve where they are gifted and needed. If you love children, have a passion and especially a gift with any age child, please contact the church office, Pastor Roger or Debra Watson for more information.
